A study of Taonga Pūoro, traditional Maori instruments, reflecting the sounds and rhythms of the natural environment. This series examines the seven whānau that make up the sounds of taonga pūoro and the genealogy and stories pertaining to them. It takes the viewer on a practical rhythmic journey into the ancient sounds and instruments themselves.
