Tonight: Hangarau Marae in Bethleham, also known as Peterehema (Bethlehem), is symbolic of the tribal ties Ngāti Hangarau have to the Tauranga Moana area. The wharenui, also named Hangarau, is a testament to the longstanding occupation the iwi have here, which stems back to the 1300s.
