This week's show we've got Paeroa skatepark, we meet up with Georgina Matthews and find a skate friendly school in Whakatane to shred, we go to Tāneatua for a demo with the 'children of the mist', and we introduce Alec Paul local ripper from Ōpōtiki.
The extreme sport action of skateboarding takes centre stage on Aotearoa Skate. Presented by national skateboard champions Chey Ataria and Secombe Watene, this programme also showcases prominent contemporary Maori music, the latest electronic graphic imagery, grafitti art and segments of selected skateboard performances locally.
