This week the crew hangs in Napier with skate legend Matt Scarrott and a band called Jakob, we go back to the home where Chey grew up in Haumoana, and check out footage from the local skate video 'Icons of Elegance'.
The extreme sport action of skateboarding takes centre stage on Aotearoa Skate. Presented by national skateboard champions Chey Ataria and Secombe Watene, this programme also showcases prominent contemporary Maori music, the latest electronic graphic imagery, grafitti art and segments of selected skateboard performances locally.
