A report on the 1970 Labour Party Conference. This starts late into the recording but the the Party's first priority is the appointment of a full time fundraiser to get local schemes off the ground. The second is the establishment of a press representative and the third is setting up a research bureau. Also an appointment to the Boundaries Commission. The discussions continue on the various remits and their outcomes.
Princes Street Labour is a branch of the New Zealand Labour Party in Auckland. Founded on 1 March 1960, the Auckland Central University branch is one of the University's oldest clubs. It ran regular talks, lectures, and debates. This was a live event organised by the Princes Street branch, and recorded by Professor Robert Chapman from the Department of Political Studies.
