Meat and Wool organisation has received complaints about the tenderness of export meat and that New Zealand's present freezing system lands toughened meat on the world's markets. The Chairman of the Meat Producer's Board, Charles Hilgendorf, thinks this is unfair, however lamb is being frozen more quickly so is occasionally 'not very tender'.

This Day is a regional magazine programme which started in 1970 when AKTV2 rebranded as Northern Television. It took over from Town and Around.
