Tarimano marae is located just outside Rotorua, in Ngongotahā. The primary hapū is Ngāti Rangiwewehi ki Uta. The whare tupuna is called Tawakeheimoa. The marae connects ancestrally to the Arawa waka, the roto Te Rotorua-nui-a-Kahumatamomoe, the awa Te Awahou and the maunga is Tiheia.
