Nestled beneath the shadow of Titirangi maunga in Gisborne sits one of the first wharenui built under the guidance of Sir Apirana Ngata. Te Poho ō Rāwiri is also one of the largest wharenui of its kind in Aotearoa. Kei raro o Titirangi i Te Turanganui a Kiwa ko Te Poho ō Rāwiri, te whare i hanga e Tā Apirana Ngata. Ko ia i tētahi o ngā whare tino nui o te motu.
