Whare Taonga Rapaki – Lyttelton
The cloak of the chief was laid down and thus Rapaki was named, this wharenui was a labour of love when the language and thus the tikanga was lost this iwi came together to produce a state of the art wharenui, to ensure their connection to te ao marama remain strong future generations. Ka takoto te rapaki o tētahi rangatira, ā, ka huaina te kainga nei ko Rāpaki. Nā te marae nei ka tū kaha ōna uri i te Ao Marama.
