Jossie Kaa: Te Wanihi Edwards travels to the remote area of Rangitukia to kōrerero with 81 year old Jossie Kaa. Jossie talks of how since the age of 7 she has missed her father since his death in Egypt in 1941 while serving in the second world war and how she has never given up on calling to the purse he sent her that was stolen from her on a train trip as a young girl.

Kuia will take us back to their younger days, they will tell of a time when electricity was a rarity, there will be tales of transition, from candlelight to electric light, from horseback to horsepower, they will talk of dark times, and reflect on things that impacted greatly on them like Christianity, Pākehā Law, the Great Depression and other issues of the time.
