8 part web series Poly Movement - Kaikanikani journeys alongside a group of Maori and Pacific Island dance students as they weave traditional cultural and contemporary dance genres and build their own unique cultural show. As they take to the stage and the world, these students travel to Portugal and tour for a month representing New Zealand at world folk international dance festivals, some leaving New Zealand for the first time. Traveling alongside we feel the infectious striving of the group and the pacific pride that becomes contagious as these young dancers carve a performing future for themselves - who will be there till the last beat as these pacific ambassadors deal with life's never ending and unpredictable challenges.
