Te Ururangi Award for Education: Pem Bird, Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Rito/ Fletcher Construction, Dr Melinda Webber. Te Tupu a Nuku Award for Business and Innovation: Animation Research Ltd (ARL), KONO NZ Limited, Tai Tokerau Honey Ltd. Te Waitā Award for Sport: Portia Woodman, Jason Wynyard, Rieko Ioane. Te Tupu a Rangi Award for Health and Science: Dr David Tipene-Leach, Mike King, Dr Matire Harwood. Te Waitā Award for Te Reo and Tikanga: Matewa Media Charitable Trust, Jeremy MacLeod, Paraone Gloyne.

The Awards celebrate outstanding Māori success and achievement in a range of fields from the sciences to the arts. The presentation of the Awards will be held at a gala event for 200 guests at Auckland Museum, recorded and featured within 24-hours of the Awards Ceremony.
