A weekly Maori perspective on people, news, arts, and language from Television New Zealand (TVNZ).

  • 1Rotorua is recognised worldwide as New Zealand's cultural centre, where tourists can see and be part of New Zealand's Maori culture. It is the only region in the country to offer such a wide range of cultural activities, aimed specifically at tourists. However, in a few weeks, Auckland will be part of New Zealand Heritage Park - a project financed by three large companies aimed at offering tourists the chance to view many facets of New Zealand life within one small area. But for Maoridom, the most important section of the Park is Culture World, where Maori arts, crafts, songs and legends will be presented. A look behind the scenes as the park prepares to open.
