1The new techniques of artificial insemination and In-Vitro fertilisation (IVF) are raising ethical questions that have never had to be considered before. Applause for these new developments is being tempered with concern that medical science is galloping ahead before the community has the chance to make decisions about the morality and legality of the process. Now Justice Minister Geoffrey Palmer has announced that his department is preparing an Issues Paper on artificial insemination by donor, and on IVF.
