Weekly current affairs from Television New Zealand (TVNZ).

  • 1In the five months since David Lange became New Zealand's youngest Prime Minister of the century, he has been faced with an economic and constitutional crisis in the shape of devaluation, negotiating an end to the wage price freeze, a speedily compiled Budget, the Economic Summit Conference, relations with South Africa and the anti-nuclear debate. At the same time, he had to try to weld his new and largely untried Labour team into a credible Government. Tonight he answers questions about his performance by a panel of experts and critics.
