  • 1Homosexuality The Homosexual Law Reform Bill begins its third reading in Parliament tonight, and is expected to be passed into law. However, the decriminalisation of homoesexual acts between consenting adults will not put an end to the public debate about homosexuality. One argument is that homosexuality is a learned behavioural pattern brought about by such factors as over mothering or early erotic sexual experience, that people are born physically committed but mentally neutral in matters of sex. The other argument, which is gaining support, is that people's sexuality is pre-determined by hormones before birth. Discussion and talkback with geneticist Dr David Lambert.

There are also fears that the latest advances in the firearms industry (plastic guns) could see even more exploitation of security gaps.
