1Over the past decade the Maori voice has been vocal in expressing its concern over racial inequality. In the United Kingdom, racism is a blight on society. The voice of the Black population calling for equality is getting steadily stronger. The aims of Maori are similar in many ways to those of English, Afro-Caribbeans and Indians.
