Television New Zealand's flagship evening news bulletin.

  • 1Britain has severed all diplomatic ties with Syria because the Syrian Ambassador in London has been linked to the Jordanian terrorist who attempted to blow up an Israeli airliner at Heathrow Airport. In return, Syria has closed the British Embassy in Damascus and closed its seaport and airspace to planes and ships from the United Kingdom. Would-be Jordanian terrorist Nezar Nawwaf al-Mansur al-Hindawi was found today guilty by a London court and was sentenced to 45 years imprisonment and evidence was submitting that proved Syrian involvement in the plot.
