Television New Zealand's hour-long weekly current affairs programme presenting mini-documentaries on topical local issues.

  • 1Rough Justice Hundreds of people are currently locked inside New Zealand's prisons without having any conviction, thanks to a remand system that many say is outdated, expensive and discriminatory. Many are there because they are too poor to pay for bail and once sentenced for minor crimes, very few are sent back inside to serve a prison sentence. Prison officers say both they and the inmates are under strain, and if the system does not change, there will be trouble.
