  • 1Racism often stems from prejudice against the unknown or the misunderstood. By involving oneself with others of a different culture, ignorance can often be overcome. It is with this aim in mind, that a group of Takapuna Grammar High School students were given an insight into Maori culture on a weekend trip to Awahou Marae in Rotorua.
