  • 2Update on an item from three years ago in which Fair Go revealed the spectacular failure of Alcial Amonium Compounds (AACs) anti-rot treatment for timber which had been used in large-scale by big building companies. AAC timber is now banned, and the Government and timber companies have each paid 50% of a consumer compensation scheme worth $7 million.
