1ANZAC Day Special An ANZAC Day special commemorating seventy years since New Zealand's War in the Pacific. Television New Zealand's Pacific Issues Correspondent Barbara Dreaver speaks to some of the veterans of the Pacific War and reports live from Noumea where eighty New Zealand veterans are attending a memorial service. A play about Pacific Island soldiers serving in World War Two has been performed in Auckland this week. Goodbye My Feleni is a play about four Pasifika soldiers serving in the 28th (Maori) Battalion during World War II. A soldier who has recently returned from serving in Afghanistan talks about how ANZAC Day has increased in significance for him.
