3It took more than twenty years to catch prolific paedophile Douglas Peters. He was expected to appear at the Auckland District Court today to be sentenced on historic sex abuse charges. But, on Tuesday night, while already serving a sentence at Springfield Prison, Peters died, denying his victims the opportunity for justice by just one day.
