2Whistle-blower Edward Snowden has unleashed a wad of documents on the activities of some of the other partners in the Five Eyes information sharing network from a file he has built up over his time working as a contractor for the National Security Agency (NSA) in the United States. The file reveals that the Five Eyes Network have co-operated to spy on allies as well as potential enemies, not only with regards to international peace, but also about trade, economic and domestic political matters.
