A documenatry about a month in the life of a Family Court Judge, John Adams. For the first time cameras were allowed inside the Otahuhu and Papakura Family Courts where Adams dealt with an array of cases, including approving adoptions and guardianship arrangements, overseeing difficult Social Welfare referrals, protection orders and paternity orders, mediating between couples fighting over children, marriage dissolutions and matrimonial property disputes.
