Today's coverages brought to you by Toyota. His the highlights from yesterday's competition. And Alpensia, every gold medallist from day one is back in action. Over a longer distance, we find out if they can triumph once again. A super combined event brought more drama to the slopes. China rose to the top of the pile on the curling rink. Could they turn it around against the Chinese? The United States 2014 ice hockey champions. On home ice, the Republic of Korea were also unbeaten. They met to settle top spot in the group. Both of these sitting events and biathlon featured athletes who had already won medals and shorter events. She had won the 6 km biathlon early in the games. She was aiming to win the 10 kilometre event. She lost her balance several times. This fall allowed another to ski past. The pressure was on. Gretsch hit all five targets, but Kocherova missed three. She slipped out of contention. Neutral Paralympic athlete was shooting well. She had all five targets on her final visit. And only missed one target and the entire race. Eskau of Germany had done the same. She took the lead going into the final lap. Guliaeva was finishing strongly. The result would be decided at the finish line. Gretsch faced a nervous wait to see if she had won a medal. Gretsch was pushed back into third place temporarily. All of their times were beaten by Andrea Eskau, the last contender to finish. Whoo! The gold medal was won by Andrea Eskau of Germany. The bronze medal was won by number 10. In the men's 12 � km sitting biathlon, Cnossen had one gold in the shorter race earlier in the games and was the one to beat. 17 year old Rad of Ukraine, who took an early lead. Gnossen was trying to hold off the challenge from his teammate, Andrew Soule. Both hit all five targets on the second visit to the shooting range. Both Americans were skiing close together, but it did not mean that Soule was ahead. Rad was extending his lead. He he did not miss a shot. Cnossen was the first contender to finish, but he would have to wait to find out his final position. Andrew Soule on the left. Rad knew his lead was enough that he could celebrate winning the gold medal. Soule had finished third. The gold medal was won by 17 year old Taras Rad of Ukraine. Daniel Cnossen of United States, silver. Andrew Soule bronze. The women's 10 km standing biathlon featured three athletes who had each won two medals already in Pyeongchang. Neutral Paralympic athlete Katerina was aiming for her third gold, having already won the 6km. Her rival was Milenina, who had finished second in both of those previous races. She had to ski to penalty loops. Liashenko of Ukraine was in third place most of the race. She managed to hit all five targets on her final visit to the shooting range. She only missed once in a whole race. A target time of 35 minutes 30 seconds for the others to chase. She was well ahead and scheduled to win her third gold medal. Liashenko crossed the line in 36 minutes 23 seconds. She was still skiing well and a final lap. She crossed the line in fact the time of 34 minutes and 10 seconds. The first three athletes had finished and the exact same order for the third time. Ekaterina Rumyantseva for gold. The silver was won by her teammate. There was a close race for the gold medal in the men's 12 � standing biathlon. Benjamin Daviet of France was the early leader. He was being chased by a Canadian. All three were shooting well. This was the only target Benjamin Daviet missed in the entire race. When he was back on his skis, the chase was incredibly close. The lead was only 3/10 of a second with only one lap left. These two were skiing together and it was pushing them to work harder. He was clearly exhausted as he dived over the finish line. Arendz crossed the line to find he had slipped 22 seconds behind Reptyukh. It was going to be very close, but Benjamin Daviet beat his time by 6.5 seconds. His second gold and Pyeongchang for Benjamin Daviet. The bronze medal was won by Arendz of Canada. The athletes and the women's 10 km visually impaired biathlon all skiing with guides. There were two incredibly close races for medals and that means 12.5km. He was competing with Kazik of Ukraine for first place. He was battling with another Ukrainian. This was Kazik's last visit to the shooting range. Those positions were about to change. Holub found the strength to finish well, setting a time of 39 minutes 23 seconds. Utkin dived over the line and beat the other Ukrainian to the medal by just 4/10 of a second. Kazik in blue cross the line and missed out on first place by just 2.4 seconds. So the gold medal was won by the Belarusian. Kazik came in second. The bronze medal was won by 125th Utkin. There were four wheelchair curling matches in the final session of day three at Gangneung Curling Centre. The Republic of Korea took on Germany. Both sides had an impressive record here. This mistake added another point of the German school board, *score board. In the fifth end, the Republic of Korea will write back and it. Korea picked up two points with their hammer. Germany did manage to get a foothold in the match, but it was not enough. A second victory for the Swedes. Finland were looking to bounce back from a heavy defeat in the morning session. They were up against a Switzerland side who had won twice. Switzerland heaps more misery on the finishing team. Wagner put a fantastic curl on his shot to put three stones in the house for Switzerland. Finland for five points down by the break, But they got themselves back into the match. Wagner had a chance to clear the house. Finland were now within two points of this was team. Finland's comeback force the match into a final end.
