Centrepoint was an alternative lifestyle settlement in Albany, Auckland, new Zealand, founded by Bert Potter in 1977, which practised communal living and personal and sexual freedom. Members were involved in group psychotherapy which was key to reconciling their old and new style of living. By the 1990's Bert Potter and several other members of this community had been convicted on drug charges and indecent assault on minors.
